DESCRIPTION:(As with all our Tuition Sessions\, this will be recorded and available for 28 days) \n\nJoin Photoshop expert\, Jonathan Vaines\, for an in-depth Tuition Session\, as he shares the secrets to creating his impressive Pastel images! \n\nAnyone familiar with Jonathan’s work will be know his main passion is for creative pastel images. The soft light he uses gives his images his trademark painterly look. \n\nDuring this two-hour workshop\, you’ll learn how this dreamy effect can be used to simplify the appearance your photos and transform them into an original work of art. \n\nThis jam-packed session will start by demonstrating how to prepare an image in Adobe Camera Raw (or Lightroom) before taking into Photoshop. \n\nThen you’ll find out how to balance the light using an adjustment layer to manage the light movement before slowly generating the desired effect. \n\nJonathan will also show you how to introduce a ‘glow’ and suggest movement. \n\nYou’ll discover that Pastel is so different to traditional post-production and working with your histogram is the key to your success! \n\nIn a nutshell\, he’ll cover: \n\n\nImage preparation in ACR (or Lightroom)\nManagement of luminosity\nProducing colour washes\nAdding and removing contrast\nWorking with your histogram\n\n  \nJonathan teaches our popular annual ‘Photoshop Mastery with Jonathan Vaines’ as well as Photoshop workshops for the Royal Photographic Society.
