DESCRIPTION:(As well as access to the live event\, you will receive a link to the recording\, which will be valid for 14 days) \nFeel hesitant about capturing strangers in candid moments? – this presentation will give you confidence to approach and photograph anyone. \nLearn from Rick’s extensive experience as he shares captivating scenes from travels across the globe\, including Cuba\, Jamaica\, Curacao\, and many more. \nHe’ll share the stories behind his images and how you can capture the essence of urban life. \nRick\, from Vancouver in Canada\, will outline optimal gear choices\, camera settings\, and the power of storytelling. \nHe will also reveal his secrets to seizing opportunities and anticipating the decisive moment. \nRick is an international\, award-winning architect\, urban designer\, and photographer. He is a “Life Member” of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts\, and “Fellow” of The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. \nHe has been an instructor of photography at Simon Fraser University\, Langara College\, and the University of British Columbia\, and has led photo workshops across Europe and North America. He was one of only 2 photographers from North America invited to display his Fine Art images at the World Art Games held in Bratislava\, Slovakia.
