SUMMARY:Photo Tour - Iceland (Westfjords) with Paul Sansome (SOLD OUT)
DESCRIPTION:Discover Iceland’s Hidden Westfjords \nExperience one of Iceland’s most spectacular and least-visited regions on this exclusive 9-night photography tour with award-winning landscape photographer Paul Sansome. \nAfter more than 25 visits to Iceland\, Paul has carefully designed an itinerary that takes you beyond the country’s famous tourist hotspots to a landscape of dramatic fjords\, vast beaches\, powerful waterfalls\, remote fishing villages and abandoned industrial sites. With fewer visitors and ever-changing light\, the Westfjords offer exceptional photographic conditions at every turn. \nWith a maximum of just five photographers\, this tour is about far more than simply visiting beautiful places. You’ll have the time to respond to the weather\, revisit locations at optimum times\, and stop whenever an unexpected photographic opportunity appears. \nWhether you enjoy landscape\, wildlife\, architecture or travel photography\, you’ll return home with a portfolio of images that captures a very different side of Iceland. \n“The Westfjords are my favourite region in Iceland. SUMMARY:Brad Carr - Talking to Trees: Woodland Photography Composition
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to bring order to the chaos of woodland photography by reading the light\, finding stronger compositions\, and being more observant. \n(As well as access to the live event\, you will automatically receive a link to the recording\, valid for 28 days) \nSee how patience and careful observation can help you make sense of one of photography’s most challenging subject and find compelling compositions amongst the complexity of trees. \nBrad will share how he reads light filtering through the canopy\, chooses where to position himself and allows compositions to emerge as he becomes more attuned to the shapes\, branches and relationships within a woodland. \nThrough his own photographs and techniques\, see how slowing down and becoming more present can help you respond to a location and translate how it feels into more personal images. \nBrad Carr is a Welsh photographic artist\, essayist\, poet\, creative practitioner and mentor. His atmospheric photographs of the Welsh landscape have appeared in national exhibitions\, books and magazines. A regular photography speaker and podcast guest\, Brad teaches photographers through his tuition and mentoring programmes\, including his Five Pillars™ framework. His work combines a thoughtful\, philosophical approach to photography with a strong connection to the landscape.
