SUMMARY:Annemarie Hoogwoud - ‘Look as Slowly as You Can – the Art of a Creative Journey’
DESCRIPTION:(As well as access to the live event\, you will receive a link to the recording\, which will be valid for 14 days) \nIn this captivating talk\, Annemarie invites you on a creative journey\, where you’ll learn the benefit of looking as slowly as you can. \nFollowing her popular talk ‘Finding Your Creative Path‘ in March 2022\, renowned ICM photographer\, Annemarie Hoogwoud returns to MPC on Thursday 25th Jan! \nAnnemarie’s passion for landscape photography started at age 15. She now uses the landscape to express herself in a more abstract way. Simplicity\, layering and wonder are the essences of her work. \nBy seeing her inspiring work\, you will understand how seemingly insignificant moments in her creative life\, have shaped her way of working. \nYou will discover how this developed during her career and how her two books played an important role. In particular\, ‘Time Vanishes From The Landscape’ will be discussed\, in relation to ‘look as slowly as you can’. \nFinally\, you will learn how to approach the idea of ‘look as slowly as you can’ by yourself\, based on her experience during the past 20+ years of her career. \nAnnmarie trained at the Dutch Photography School and on advanced courses in the Netherlands and UK. She exhibits in the Netherlands and internationally and is represented by Dutch Luxury Design. She has published two books\, ‘The Quest’ (2018) and ‘Time Vanishes from the Landscape’ (2023).
