DESCRIPTION:(As well as access to the live event\, you will receive a link to the recording\, which will be valid for 14 days) \nScottish ICM Seascape Photographer\, Shona\, shares how careful observation\, slowing down and capturing the essence of place\, has elevated her work. \nInfluenced by contemporary art and abstract minimalism\, Shona has spent several years developing her love for ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) photography. \nIn this fascinating live Zoom Talk\, she will share her passion for this genre and explain how her approach has changed considerably over the past couple of years. \nWhile Shona enjoys the freedom and creativity that ICM allows\, she believes that technique is also extremely important. You will learn how a considered\, focussed\, and disciplined approach will ensure the best results can be achieved in-camera. \nYou will discover how she creates a sense of calm through her imagery\, capturing solitude\, tranquillity\, and haunting beauty\, all while maintaining her distinctive style. \nWhile largely self-taught\, Shona studied at the British Academy of Photography and is a regular contributor for the globally recognised ICM Photography Magazine. \nShe’s an inspirational Speaker with a wealth of experience in coaching\, mentoring and leadership and has been successfully running photography workshops\, creative retreats and private tuition for the past 3 years.
