DESCRIPTION:Learn about project-based work\, whether abstract creations\, collaboration with the NHS\, travel-related\, or his Doors and Windows collection. \n(As well as access to the live event\, you will automatically receive a link to the recording\, valid for 28 days) \nJonathan will share how he develops ideas into projects\, including his work with the NHS\, projects connected to his own mental health challenges\, and his ongoing personal undertakings. \nHe will explore commissioned work\, from individual pieces of wall art to producing a body of work designed to represent healing for people coping with trauma. \nHis approach to capturing and creating images is often driven by a desire to express a particular mood or emotion\, the finished pieces frequently become what he describes as “wall art”. \nJonathan Vaines is a UK-based creative photographer specialising in abstraction\, multiple exposure and intentional camera movement. Influenced by pictorialism\, he uses colour and in-camera techniques to create expressive images\, often developed through long-term projects. A member of the prestigious London Salon of Photography\, he is a PermaJet lecturer and DxO tutor specialising in the Nik Collection. He is a photographic educator and is affiliated with Wex Photo Video\, Q-Image and Cartridge Monkey.
