Discover how projects can be a powerful and rewarding means of focussing on a specific task or subject, whatever your favourite genre.

From a walk on the beach, to a year in a local woodland, projects – whether long or short – are a great means of focusing one’s attention on a specific species, habitat or technique.

Robert shares how the focus of personal projects can prevent us wandering and returning with nothing in particular.

Enjoy his stunning Nature and Landscape work and learn more about his techniques and experiences.

Robert Canis is based in north Kent, and has been photographing nature for more than 40 years, with 30 as a professional.

Frequently leading workshops and overseas tours, the vast majority of Robert’s photography is project-related and undertaken close to home.

Represented by a number of Europe’s leading image libraries, he has received multiple awards in numerous prestigious international photo competitions and is the recipient of the RPS Gold Medal.
