Join Photoshop expert, Jonathan Vaines, for 2 in-depth Tuition Sessions, sharing how to work effectively with texture and composite images.

During these two workshops, you will learn different methods of adding elements to your images.

Session 1 – 6th September

You’ll discover how the use of texture can give an image an ‘arty’ look and can make images more painterly.

You’ll find out how to:

• Use texture to add detail into specific areas
• Add texture to give depth to an image
• Control the definition of texture
• Blend colour of texture to match base images
• Blend texture using specific light values and blend modes.

Session 2 – 13th September

You’ll discover that composite images are not always what they seem. Although we can place several elements together to make an image that is completely fantasy, you’ll learn how to use elements to enhance a strong base image.

You’ll find out how to:

• Create an image from several elements
• Add elements to enhance images
• Use methods of blending
• Moving light from one image to another
• Blend using gradients and gradient maps
• Adding elements of images over more than a single image to tie sets of images together.
