Catherine Karnow is a National Geographic photographer born in Hong Kong who has spent over 40 years capturing powerful human stories across the globe. A major focus of her work has been Vietnam, where she has documented the long-term effects of Agent Orange on families and children – work that has won awards and driven real change. Based in San Francisco and Provence, Catherine is also a passionate educator whose in-depth photo workshops in Vietnam, Cambodia, Romania, Provence, Puglia, and India are widely recognized for their creativity, depth, and mentorship.
