Learn from this session as Mark shares how he uses split toning in his images and why it is a very personal way of treating an image.
“I was a detective for 26 years and took up photography quite late in life. In some respects, I wish I’d taken it up sooner, but in others I’m happy I came to it later.
It allowed me to do things the way I wanted to. I live with my wife and dog 150 yards from a beach in a remote corner of the Highlands. I run the occasional workshop, and the majority of my time is spent doing things that I enjoy.
Mark is a previous winner of the Take-a-View UK Landscape Photographer of the Year, and during the last few years eleven of his images have received Judges Commendations in the awards, along with two being highly commended and another image being runner up in the Classic View in 2015.
His work has been featured in a variety of national magazines and he has also written several articles in relation to landscape photography and his particular approach to it.
