£ 0.00
8 available

Paul aims to provide people with memorable experiences, good photo opportunities and a great holiday.

Paul says, “the emphasis of the trip is focused on photography and I believe that the best photo opportunities are usually found away from the main tourist sites.

This trip takes us through Karnataka from the city of Mysore and through the breath-taking beauty of the tea plantations of the Western Ghats, via a Tiger Safari.

Then on to the fascinating old colonial town of Fort Cochin (Kochi) on the Arabian Sea.

No visit to Kerala would be complete without spending time in the Backwaters, an extensive network of canals and lakes along the shores of which we will see the people who have adapted to this water-based lifestyle.”

As well as being attractive to the photographer, the itinerary will also appeal to people wishing to experience a more in-depth view of the Indian way of life.

The Tours attract people with all levels of photography experience.

Paul is one of the UK’s most successful fine art photographers, selling photography to hang on people’s walls since becoming a professional in 2003.

Paul has been Highly Commended in the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year, has several times featured in

Landscape Photographer of the Year and in 2017 and 2019 won major portfolio awards in the Travel Photographer of the Year which featured photographs from India.

For the past ten years Paul has been leading 2 or 3 photography holidays each year to countries that include Italy, Morocco, Iceland, Vietnam, Myanmar and India.

On the trips there is an emphasis on both having a great holiday and also on taking great photographs and improving the client’s photography skills.

We visit locations specifically because they offer good photo opportunities and spend much longer at any given location than a normal tour because photography can often need that little bit of patience to get the perfect shot.

In India, there is a major emphasis on people photography and the depiction of a foreign culture.

Paul says “Whilst my background was in landscape and wildlife photography, I have the strongest passion for capturing the character and lifestyle of the Indian people and I have never travelled anywhere where the people have been more welcoming to photographers”.

There is group education at the beginning of the tour so that clients have an awareness of some creative and compositional ideas as well as a strong technical grounding in how to get the best results.

Paul is always available on location and the guidance given when alongside someone taking the photographs is probably the most instructive and beneficial.
