ICM Seascape Photographer, Shona, shares how her passion for art has elevated her work and led to an inspiring collaboration with a painter.
Influenced by contemporary art and abstract minimalism, Shona has spent several years developing her ICM practice, creating a fusion between painting and photography.
In this talk, discover the connection between art and photography and how Shona’s love of the sea, shared with artist Fee Dickson Reid, creates a unique synergy and inspired their debut exhibition.
Blurred Perceptions explores the blurred lines between photography and painting, between reality and imagination. The softening of time, light and perception in the work of both artists, inviting the viewer to slow down, to be present and more considered, evoking emotion and creating a sense of calm.
A contributor to ICM Photography Magazine and a graduate of the British Academy of Photography, Shona brings a wealth of experience as a speaker, mentor, and creative coach.
For the past three years, she has led photography workshops and retreats, helping others discover their creative potential.
