Landscape photography, to an obsession with book publishing! – Tim offers creative and technical advice for successful landscapes & books.

Learn from Tim’s long and successful career in landscape photography, and how early encounters with photography books shaped his future.

When he started the excellent annual Natural Landscape Photography Awards, he had the opportunity to design and produce a book.

After colour and printing issues, Tim invested time refining the print preparation process, to establish what truly makes a difference in achieving exceptional print quality.

Through that work with photography book production, Tim has developed a deep understanding of what makes successful publications.

Tim will be open to questions on any related topic throughout the session.

Tim Parkin is founder of the Natural Landscape Photography Awards, and editor of On Landscape magazine, now in its 328th issue.

The Awards showcase photographers who work within traditional bounds while expressing themselves creatively through truthful depiction of the natural world.

He has judged over twenty competitions, including UK’s Landscape Photographer of the Year and International Landscape Photographer of the Year.

Tim is also a consultant for Wildlife Photographer of the Year in rule development and image authenticity checking.
