Embark on an icy adventure with Kaisa, renowned ICM Photographer, to see the stunning Antarctic and Arctic Circle through her creative lens.
In this exciting presentation, Kaisa will be showing work from her home area of the Arctic Circle in Lapland, Svalbard, Greenland, and 3 different locations in the Antarctic.
The photographic themes she touches on are related to different seasons of Lapland, the sensitivity of the northern nature and expressing emotions via impressionistic nature photos.
She is currently working on a personal project called ‘Iceberg Graveyard’ and will share with you how she’s used Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) to express her feelings about the sensitive polar regions and the global warming.
Kaisa lives in Rovaniemi, at the Arctic Circle in Lapland, Finland where she works as a freelance photographer. She has had several solo and group exhibitions, in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Germany. She also owns and runs her own gallery in Rovaniemi.
Kaisa is member of the quarterly ICMPhotomag E-mag publishing team, a co-founder of ICMPhotomag Network Community and ICM Photo Academy. She teaches courses on ICM photography, both in person and on-line.
