In this inspiring Talk, award-winning Landscape Photographer Ruth, invites us into her world of visual exploration and artistic expression.

With a focus on her personal ‘vision’, Ruth delves into what excites and inspires her within the realm of landscape photography, sharing insights into her practice both in the field and during post-processing.

She will demonstrate the diversity of landscapes that continually captivate her lens by showcasing her latest work, classified into the three categories of ‘Land’, ‘Water’ and ‘Close to Home’.

Ruth will show how her images are created both in the landscape and when back at home, including some technical aspects of actually taking and making a photo.

Throughout the Talk she’ll aim to give everyone the confidence, whatever their experience, to venture into the landscape with their camera – to discover the magic that happens when they embrace their own unique perspectives.

Ruth Grindrod has won many accolades, including ‘Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year’ in 2019, and featuring in LPOTY winners’ books. She regularly writes for Frames and Outdoor Photography magazines.She lives in Norfolk but regularly travels to Scotland as she never tires of the Scottish landscape.
