David Day trained as a pharmaceutical scientist, specializing in uncovering hidden connections—an analytical mindset that became the foundation for his photographic practice. His journey began in the 1990s capturing local scenery, evolving through infrared photography to his current focus on Intentional Camera Movement since 2020. David developed Controlled Camera Chaos (C3), a systematic studio-based approach that transforms everyday objects into emotionally resonant images. His work has led to three published books, multiple awards, and inclusion in juried exhibitions. He regularly speaks at art associations and camera clubs across the U.S. and Europe.
