Enter the enchanting world of floral photography and learn to capture the beauty and serenity of nature in Jocelyn’s impressionistic style.
Jocelyn Horsfall is an award-winning Photographic Artist, specialising in atmospheric and evocative images, inspired by flowers, foliage and the natural world.
She believes nature is good for the soul, and strives to capture its beauty, tranquillity and harmony in her work. She combines a strong sense of colour and form with an interest in textural effects and abstraction.
Although Jocelyn will start by sharing some of her earlier landscapes, this evening will focus on her flowers and foliage, both in the studio and then outdoors through the seasons of the year.
You’ll be introduced to the different techniques she uses with her camera, including textured glass, soft focus, multiple exposure and camera movement – and a little creative post processing too!
Jocelyn Horsfall ARPS is a well-respected expert in her field and regularly exhibits across the UK, in both group and solo exhibitions. She has had great success with the International Garden Photographer of the year competition over the years, this time receiving five awards.
