Learn not just how to evaluate light in your image, but how to then move light from where you don’t want it, to where you need it!

In these two two-hour workshops on the 19th and 26th July, you will learn that simple light movements can make all the difference to the impact of an image, but you must also consider the colour too.

Light and colour often work hand in hand, and you will see how shifting, or changing, colours can alter photographs.

These two workshop will give you the understanding of :

  1. Adobes most powerful tools, Levels and Curves.  We will use these to control input and output light along with enhancing light and colour.
  2. Colour manipulations in Camera RAW with both HSL and Point Colour
  3. Colour Grading
  4. Colour changes in photoshop including:
    1. Blend mode
    2. Channel mixing
    3. Selective colouration
  5. Shifting light from one image to another file
  6. Balancing colours between separate images

Jonathan regularly teaches Photoshop online, as well as face-to-face camera craft sessions. He also runs workshops for the Royal Photographic Society, is a circuit Judge and Paper Spectrum sponsored Lecturer.

(Both sessions will be recorded and available for 28 days)
